Dr Ross Balson
Dr Ross Balson is an experienced gastroenterologist having trained at The Royal Melbourne and Western Hospitals and subsequently in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne in private practice and at Box Hill Hospital for 20 years where he established the hepatitis clinic.

In 2005, he worked at St. Thomas' hospital in London where he trained in EUS (endoscopic ultrasound), a specialised procedure used in the staging and diagnosis of pancreatic and other cancers. He was one of the first few gastroenterologists in Melbourne to train in EUS.

He has a particular interest in bowel cancer screening and prevention through colonoscopy and is an approved colonoscopist of the National Bowel Cancer screening program.

Dr Aparna Morgan
Dr Aparna Morgan is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist providing comprehensive care across all areas of adult digestive and liver health. She completed her specialist training at Peninsula Health and The Royal Melbourne Hospital, including an Advanced Training year in Hepatology. 

She performs gastroscopy and colonoscopy and manages the full spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver conditions. Dr Morgan is also involved in public health research in viral hepatitis at the Burnet Institute.
